Launched in 2018, the Resource Center for the Blind (RCB), situated in Yaba Lagos is a project of the Jubrila Ayinla Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that focuses on providing access to community-based services and the empowerment of the less privileged. RCB provides rehabilitation and training to persons with visual impairments, their families, educators, and schools working with this target group.
The center also offers Braille production services by transcribing print materials into Braille form to enable blind users and institutions who work in this space to have access to reading and learning materials while providing psycho-social support for persons/families who are transitioning into sight loss.
To educate, inspire and empower those with visual impairments to lead an independent life.
